Six measurements. That is the whole thing.
Send them once on WhatsApp and we keep them on file. Every order after that is cut to the same numbers.
You will need a soft measuring tape and, ideally, someone to help. Measure over a well-fitting garment, not over loose clothes. Keep the tape snug but not tight — you should be able to slide one finger under it.
1. Bust
Around the fullest part of the chest, tape level all the way round and parallel to the floor. Keep your arms down and breathe normally.
2. Waist
Around the narrowest part of the torso, usually just above the navel. Do not pull the tape in — measure where the fabric will actually sit.
3. Hip
Around the fullest part of the hips, roughly 20 cm below the waist. Stand with feet together.
4. Shoulder
Across the back, from the tip of one shoulder to the other. This is the measurement people most often get wrong — it should follow the curve of the back, not go straight across in a line.
5. Kurta length
From the highest point of the shoulder, straight down to where you want the hem to finish. Wear the shoes or heels you would normally wear with it.
6. Sleeve length
From the shoulder tip down to where the sleeve should end. For three-quarter sleeves, this usually lands just below the elbow.
Three things worth knowing
Measure the body, not a garment. We add the ease ourselves. If you send us the measurements of a kurta you already own, it will come out one size too big.
Tell us if you are between sizes on the bottom. Palazzos and pants sit differently on different people, and we would rather ask than guess.
Nothing is final until you confirm. We read the measurements back to you on WhatsApp before cutting.
